Job Brief
- The scope of work for a Service Engineer involves installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment, troubleshoot issues ensuring efficiency, and compliance with safety standards.
Accountabilities
- Develop and implement a regular and timely preventive maintenance plan in accordance with Health Authority and Quality Control policies and regulations.
- Ensure that all machines undergo scheduled preventive maintenance.
- Installation of all the products trained on.
- Arrange pre installation requirements for free commitment or local supply of Instrument ordered.
- Ensure proper installation of machines to prevent any issues for the customer.
- Perform timely corrective actions in response to breakdown calls.
- Coordinate the prompt delivery of received spare parts.
- Promote and sell service contracts for various products managed.
- Foster strong customer relationships.
- Meet the annual revenue target.
- Provide support to Lab Technicians with any application related tasks as required.
- Participate in training sessions as scheduled or required.
Administrative
- Ensure the timely submission of weekly reports.
- Assist the service coordinator in preparing Health Authority and Quality Control documentation for new installations.
- Maintain and update the instrument database.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to provide technical information and coordinate pre installation site visits.
- Share relevant sales leads or information with the Sales team.
- Periodic Reporting to the Line Manager.
