Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide attentive, professional and personalised service throughout their dining experience
- Manage an assigned station or section during service
- Present menus and explain food, beverage, promotional and daily special offerings
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them promptly into the point of sale system
- Provide informed recommendations based on guest preferences, dietary requirements and menu availability
- Communicate allergies, dietary requirements and special requests accurately to the Culinary team
- Coordinate with kitchen, bar and service team to ensure orders are prepared and delivered correctly and on time
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with established service procedures
- Monitor tables throughout the meal and respond promptly to guest requests
- Prepare and present guest bills accurately and process payments in accordance with cashiering procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Server, Waiter or Waitress within a restaurant, clubhouse, hotel or similar hospitality environment
- Good knowledge of food and beverage service procedures
- Ability to manage an assigned section independently during service
- Strong menu knowledge with confidence to provide recommendations
- Experience using point of sale and cashiering systems
- Basic knowledge of food allergies, dietary requirements and food hygiene practices
- Strong guest service and interpersonal skills
- Clear verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays

About the Role
