Senior Video Editor / Conceptualizer

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Edit commercials, branded content, corporate films, and social media videos.
• Create narratives through pacing, music, sound design, transitions, and visual flow.
• Manage the full post-production process from footage selection and rough cuts to final delivery.
• Adapt content into different formats and durations for digital and social platforms.
• Develop creative concepts and visual treatments based on client briefs.
• Present ideas through mood boards, storyboards, references, and AI-generated visuals.
• Use generative AI to create images, videos, voiceovers, storyboards, and concept references.
• Maintain consistency across AI-generated characters, environments, lighting, and scenes.
• Collaborate with creative directors, filmmakers, designers, and account teams.
• Manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional video-editing experience is required.
• Creative agency or production house experience is preferred.
• Strong editing, storytelling, pacing, music selection, and sound design knowledge is required.
• Strong understanding of post-production workflows, formats, codecs, and delivery specifications is required.
• Strong conceptual thinking and visual judgment are required.
• Hands-on experience with AI image, video, voice, and content-generation tools is required.
• Strong prompt-writing skills and ability to maintain AI-generated visual consistency are required.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines is required.
• A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating editing, conceptual, and AI-generated work is required.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
