Senior Unified Endpoint Management Engineer

Primary Purpose of Role

Key Responsibilities

• Own and optimize all core Microsoft Intune capabilities, including device enrollment, configuration and compliance policies, application deployment, conditional access enforcement, and cloud endpoint management.
• Design and implement scalable endpoint standards, policies, and modern management solutions aligned to security and operational requirements.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis for recurring or high‑impact Level 4 endpoint issues across corporate‑managed mobile and client devices.
• Drive endpoint lifecycle improvements, including provisioning, patching, software delivery, performance monitoring, and device compliance.
• Develop automation using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and other Microsoft platform capabilities to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
• Manage integration between Intune and broader Microsoft Entra, security, and mobility tooling to ensure a unified, well‑governed platform.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across the client platform and UEM team.
• Partner with architecture, infrastructure, security, and support leaders to implement strategic endpoint and mobility initiatives.
• Establish and maintain documentation, engineering standards, and operational runbooks.
• Support pilot programs, testing strategies, and controlled rollout plans for new Microsoft client and endpoint technologies and services.
