Logistics Manager

Core Responsibilities

Supply Chain Oversight : Manage suppliers, negotiate contracts, and secure timely delivery of raw metals and finished goods.

Production Planning : Coordinate manufacturing schedules to meet customer demand without creating excess stock.

Logistics & Warehousing : Oversee procurement, shipping, receiving, and storage of inventory.

Team Leadership : Train, mentor, and direct warehouse staff, logistics and production planning staff.

Process Improvement : Apply lean manufacturing rules to cut waste and lower operating costs.

Facilities Maintenance: Monitor plant and equipment maintenance matters, engaging external suppliers where needed.

Facility safety : Ensure fire safety systems, waste disposal, and work areas are clean and compliant

Required Qualifications

Education : Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, mechanical engineering, business, or a related field.

Experience : Minimum 5 years in operations or logistics, preferably within mechanical power transmission, automotive, or industrial manufacturing setting.

Technical Skills : Deep understanding of mechanical transmission products, ERP software (like SAP or MS Dynamics), and inventory management systems.

Soft Skills : Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and clear communication skills.
