Role Overview
The primary duty of the Senior Transcript Coordinator (hereafter noted as STC) is to ensure transcript is accurately typed, finalised and delivered to clients in accordance with the production schedule and style guides.
All TCs will form a team working closely together in conjunction with the Transcription Manager/Operations Manager to allocate transcribers and manage resourcing and transcript production for a variety of jurisdictions for daily and delayed transcripts.
The STC will act as a 2IC to the Transcription Manager, providing guidance to members of the inhouse and home-based transcription team and maintaining an overview of work allocation to home-based transcribers and in-office staff.
The STC will work closely with the Transcript Coordinators in conjunction with the Transcription Manager to allocate transcribers and manage the various jurisdictions for daily and delayed transcripts.
The STC will provide guidance and support to the Transcription team and will provide full cover for the Transcript Manager in their absence.
The STC will be required to cross-train for duties related to the management of every transcription jurisdiction within their allocation.
STCs will be required to cross-train on various jurisdictions and may be involved in projects pertaining to transcription.
