Job Purpose
The Senior Technical Software Engineer is a key technical member of an agile feature team supporting Emirates Group information and technology initiatives.
The role provides technical leadership while remaining hands-on in software development and problem resolution.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery and technical assessment of Computer Vision and AI initiatives for contactless, non-intrusive passenger experiences.
- Own Computer Vision and AI solutions end-to-end, including architecture, model selection, development, testing, and deployment across airport environments.
- Design and optimize GPU-accelerated Computer Vision pipelines for multi-camera vision, video analytics, and AI inference.
- Ensure accurate, performant, scalable, and reliable processing of high-volume video streams.
- Drive delivery of scalable and secure software solutions and collaborate with architects, stakeholders, vendors, and dependent teams.
- Mentor engineers and support technical design and business outcome delivery.
Requirements
- Experience providing technical leadership while remaining hands-on in software development and problem resolution.
- Experience with Computer Vision and AI solution design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Ability to design scalable and secure software architectures.
- Ability to work with technical and business stakeholders to assess feasibility and define solutions.
