Job Purpose
The Technical Product Owner joins the Technical Product Management team supporting technology products and services across Digital, Airline and Airport Operations, Group Services, and Commercial.
The role owns work backlogs, leads product lifecycle activities, and acts as the voice of the customer for designated technology products and applications.
The role is identified in the source as a leadership role.
Technical Product Ownership
- Own story content, acceptance criteria, and end-story sign-off across team backlogs.
- Ensure user stories are prepared on time, frequently refined, and prioritized with other team backlogs.
- Capture, refine, and prioritize technical debt and non-functional requirements across sprints.
- Capture BAU, ceremony, and spike activities within available team capacity.
- Prepare contributions to PI demonstrations with other Product Owners.
- Maintain feature quality and integrity within technical and team boundaries.
- Identify risks and dependencies and contribute them to the Product Portfolio backlog.
- Attend and contribute to Product Management meetings, particularly PI Planning.
- Define metrics to measure the success and performance of prioritized work.
- Work with teams to identify innovation ideas and consolidate them for the Technical Product Manager community.
