Position Overview

  • Autodesk is the global leader in design and make technology, including 3D design, engineering, and entertainment software.
  • We are looking for a strategic and customer obsessed Senior Technical Product Manager to define and drive the vision for our data products.
  • You will shape roadmaps, identify market opportunities, and partner with architecture, engineering, and product teams.

Responsibilities

  • Define the vision and roadmap for data products, from initial concept to execution and delivery.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with architecture, engineering, and product teams across Autodesk and different regions.
  • Recognize market opportunities in various regions and guide the Product Data vision and strategy.
  • Collaborate directly with Autodesk product teams to outline, prioritize, and plan development of new methodologies and tools.
  • Convey the value of our products to customers, differentiating Autodesk's offerings from competitors.
  • Represent the product strongly at customer sites, conferences, and other external venues.
  • Synthesize customer feedback and analyze quantitative data to draw insights and measure product success.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of Product Management experience in a SaaS or enterprise technology environment.
  • Experience defining product strategy and delivering customer facing products from concept through launch.
  • Strong understanding of data products, data platforms, interoperability, or data driven workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical and business concepts.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing cross functional teams and building strong partnerships.
  • Strong leadership, prioritization, stakeholder management, and decision making skills.
  • Knowledge of the AEC industry and competitive landscape is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience applying AEC industry standards such as IFC, ISO 19650, and related interoperability standards.
  • Experience with BIM platforms such as Revit and understanding of managing large scale AEC project data.
  • Proven experience launching platform capabilities, data services, or enterprise products with measurable business impact.
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum product development environments.
  • Strong understanding of user experience principles and ability to incorporate customer centered design.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, APIs, data integration, or enterprise platform products is highly desirable.

Salary Transparency

  • For Canada based roles, we expect a starting base salary between CAD 122,000 and CAD 179,300.
  • Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
  • Compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
