Job Title: Lead Systems Engineer -Network Security Position: Network Security Experience: 8+ Years Category: IT Infrastructure Main location: Bangalore Position ID: J0826-1015 Employment Type: Full Time Job Description: The position is focused on Network Security Operations, with primary responsibility for managing and supporting Fortigate and Check Point firewalls, VPN connectivity, routing, switching, and firewall policy administration. The candidate will be responsible for basic troubleshooting, implementing firewall changes, and working closely with stakeholders and clients. Key Technical Skills Required Network Security . Firewall policy creation and modification . Firewall rule implementation and policy pushes . Fortigate Firewall administration . Check Point Firewall administration . VPN configuration and troubleshooting . Firewall route additions and network traffic analysis Networking . Routing and Switching fundamentals . End to end route verification and troubleshooting . Network connectivity issue resolution . Basic network security concepts Process & Operations . ITIL knowledge and incident/change management awareness . Operational support and service delivery experience Experience Requirements . 3 to 4 years of overall IT experience . Minimum 2 years of hands on firewall management experience . Strong practical exposure to Fortigate and Check Point firewalls Soft Skills . Strong communication and presentation skills . Stakeholder management and client relationship management . Good listening and adaptability skills . Proactive, self motivated, and challenge oriented attitude
