Role Overview
Avensys is seeking a Senior Storage Administrator to manage enterprise storage and backup infrastructure.
The role covers enterprise SAN/NAS storage, LUNs, RAID, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, provisioning, replication, backup, snapshots, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Primary Skills and Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in enterprise storage, data center infrastructure, and backup environments.
- Strong hands-on SAN/NAS administration experience in enterprise data center environments.
- Experience managing storage capacity, performance, availability, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of SAN, NAS, storage connectivity, and high-availability storage environments.
- Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix and integration with enterprise storage platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Veeam, Commvault, ExaGrid, Synology NAS, or similar technologies.
- Experience with Azure Storage and Azure Backup is advantageous.
- Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, RPO/RTO, and data protection.
- Experience supporting multi-site data centers and critical production environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle P1/P2 incidents, root-cause analysis, capacity planning, and infrastructure changes.

Responsibilities
- Administer enterprise SAN/NAS storage environments.
- Manage LUNs, RAID, Fibre Channel, and iSCSI storage connectivity.
- Provision storage and manage replication, backup, and snapshots.
- Monitor storage performance, capacity, and availability.
- Troubleshoot storage and backup infrastructure issues.
- Integrate virtualization platforms with enterprise storage systems.
- Support Veeam, Commvault, ExaGrid, Synology NAS, or similar backup and storage technologies.
- Support Azure Storage and Azure Backup where applicable.
- Support multi-site data centers and critical production environments.
- Handle P1 and P2 incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
- Perform capacity planning and support infrastructure changes.
- Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and data protection capabilities.
