About the Role
Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority seeks a Senior Operations Specialist to drive safe, reliable rail station operations. You will oversee contractor delivery, audit safety and service levels, and coordinate events and emergency activations.

- Investigate incidents, accidents, and major occurrences and prepare reports
- Coordinate with RTA departments and Public Transport Corporation for multimodal integration
- Serve as member of Rail Agency Emergency Management Team
- Analyze performance data and passenger feedback to recommend improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Transportation Engineering, Operations Management, or Urban Planning
- 6+ years experience with Master's (8+ years with Bachelor's)
- UAE Nationality required

Job Purpose
- Drive safe, reliable, world class rail station operations by overseeing contractor delivery across stations, car parks, and customer services.
Roles & Accountabilities
- Develop and update station, depot, and rolling stock design inputs to ensure operational suitability, safety, and HSE compliance.
- Define and update station operation rules, procedures, and work instructions.
- Review HSQE, RSEMS/ASEMS frameworks and risk mitigation plans.
- Plan and approve annual and event schedules, operating timetables, and feeder bus integration.
- Conduct passenger demand studies and break even analyses.
- Monitor contractor delivery of station, car park, and customer service functions.
- Audit and monitor implementation of operator proposed improvements.
- Review and evaluate reports on security vulnerabilities and incidents.
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled audits of stations, signage, facilities, and staff competencies.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and major occurrences.
- Supervise service improvement projects, design reviews, and procurement lists.
- Coordinate with RTA departments and Public Transport Corporation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering, Operations Management, or Urban Planning.
- 6+ Years in case of Master’s degree (8+ years in case of Bachelor’s degree).
- Required Nationality: UAE Only.
Physical Working Conditions
- Perform frequent inspections of stations, depots, and interchanges under live traffic and varied weather conditions.
- Remain on call for special events, night shifts, and emergencies.
