- Support the implementation of institution wide standards and frameworks for faculty workload, movement, and appointment processes
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational policies and procedures related to faculty lifecycle activities
- Provide data driven insights and reporting to academic leadership for strategic planning and resource allocation
- Ensure faculty operational processes align with accreditation requirements, regulatory guidelines, and institutional performance indicators
- Coordinate and verify faculty workload allocations across divisions and ensure alignment with approved teaching norms
- Manage the end to end processing of faculty transfers and secondments
- Administer onboarding and assignment processes for adjunct and visiting faculty
- Maintain an up to date repository of academic qualifications, credential equivalency, and ranking records
- Liaise with HR and academic units to support timely and compliant faculty appointments, renewals, and contract changes
- Generate operational reports and data summaries for audits, compliance reviews, and internal decision making
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in higher education, academic administration, faculty affairs, or workforce planning
- Familiarity with UAE faculty credentialing standards, academic workload models, and adjunct appointment processes is an advantage
- Experience using academic or HR systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, Banner, Oracle) for faculty data tracking and reporting

Role Overview
- The Senior Specialist – Faculty Operations is responsible for executing and coordinating key operational processes across the faculty lifecycle, including workload planning, faculty transfers, adjunct and visiting faculty appointments, academic qualification documentation, and credential equivalency
Main Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of institution wide standards and frameworks for faculty workload, movement, and appointment processes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational policies and procedures related to faculty lifecycle activities.
- Provide data driven insights and reporting to academic leadership for strategic planning and resource allocation.
- Ensure faculty operational processes align with accreditation requirements, regulatory guidelines, and institutional performance indicators.
- Collaborate with faculty affairs leadership to enhance system efficiency, consistency, and compliance.
- Coordinate and verify faculty workload allocations across divisions.
- Manage the end to end processing of faculty transfers and secondments.
- Administer onboarding and assignment processes for adjunct and visiting faculty.
- Maintain an up to date repository of academic qualifications, credential equivalency, and ranking records.
- Liaise with HR and academic units to support timely and compliant faculty appointments.
- Generate operational reports and data summaries for audits, compliance reviews, and internal decision making.
- Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of faculty records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, or related field (required).
- Master’s degree in Education Management, Business, or related field (preferred).
- Professional certification (optional but beneficial): CIPD / Workforce Planning / Analytics related certification.
- Familiarity with UAE faculty credentialing standards, academic workload models, and adjunct appointment processes is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in higher education, academic administration, faculty affairs, or workforce planning.
- Experience in higher education institutions (strongly preferred).
- Familiarity with academic systems, scheduling, and workforce analytics tools.
- Experience using academic or HR systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, Banner, Oracle) for faculty data tracking and reporting.
- Exposure to accreditation related documentation and faculty data audits is desirable.
