Responsibilities
- Act as planning expert ensuring safety, environment and regulatory compliance for logistics planning processes
- Monitor Logistics Planning performance and KPIs, identify gaps and execute action plans
- Manage major project materials movement for production complexes, barges, and islands
- Direct shipment of production materials, spares and consumables to offshore sites
- Liaise with Operations parties to ensure vessel performance meets requirements
- Monitor Barge Move Bar Chart and coordinate with Fleet Operations Team for AHTS availability
- Coordinate with Fleet Operations Team for vessel maintenance and repairs
- Monitor supplier performance and appraise vendor manufacturing ability
Requirements
- University bachelor's degree in supply chain management/Logistics/Marine operation or equivalent
- 10 years of relevant professional experience in Technical and Projects Engineering or Management in Petrochemical/Refining/Oil & Gas industry
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in Logistics & Shipping/sea freight supply related to Oil & Gas industry
- Good knowledge of industry best practice and applicable legislation
- In depth knowledge of Oil & Gas Business Planning, Supply Planning and core marine processes

- Controls daily sea freight activities within Abu Dhabi and all company operating area.
- Arranges and ensures availability of supply vessels for transportation of materials to offshore installations.
Job Specific Accountabilities Part 1
- Acts as planning expert for safety, environment and regulatory compliance.
- Monitors Logistics Planning performance and KPIs.
- Manages major project materials movement for production complexes, barges, and islands.
- Directs shipment of production materials, spares and consumables to offshore sites.
- Liaises with Operations parties to ensure vessel performance.
- Evaluates performance and recommends actions.
- Monitors team activity and provides training.
- Monitors production operation forecast to ensure manpower and assets availability.
Job Specific Accountabilities Part 2
- Coordinates with Fleet Operations Team for vessel maintenance and repairs.
- Controls Shutdown Times and ensures not to exceed agreed percentage.
- Coordinates with Shipping Team and Offshore Site End Users.
- Monitors supplier performance and appraises vendor manufacturing ability.
- Estimates provisions to be sent offshore to avoid surplus or deficit.
- Follows up with end users to comply with operating timelines.
- Coordinates with internal stakeholders.
- Provides assistance to company L&S commercial on project proposals.
Minimum Requirements
- University bachelor's degree in supply chain management/Logistics/Marine operation or equivalent.
- 10 years of relevant professional experience in Technical and Projects Engineering or Management in Petrochemical/Refining/Oil & Gas industry.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in Logistics & Shipping/sea freight supply related to Oil & Gas industry.
- Good knowledge of industry best practice and technology trends.
- Good skills on Project Management software.
- In depth knowledge of Oil & Gas Business Planning, Supply Planning and core marine processes.
