About the Role
A global energy maritime logistics leader seeks a Senior Specialist Control Production to manage sea freight activities, coordinate supply vessel availability, and monitor logistics planning performance.

Responsibilities
- Acts as a planning expert responsible for ensuring safety, environment and regulatory concerns are addressed, and compliances are maintained for all logistics planning processes
- Monitoring Logistics Planning performance and KPI’s, endlessly strives for operational enhancement, identify and analyses gaps and execute action plans to ensure business continuity
- Efficiently manage all major project materials movement for production complexes, barges, and islands
- Direct the shipment of all production materials, spares and consumables to offshore sites
- Liaise with Involved Operations parties to ensure vessel performance meet or exceed requirements
- Evaluate performance and recommend appropriate actions to ensure and maintain operation requirements, as well as vessel availability ratio
- Continuous monitoring of team activity to figure weak links and to straighten them with necessary motivation and training as needed
- Monitoring production operation forecast to ensure availability of supporting manpower and assets by drafting development plans
- Monitor Barge Move Bar Chart and coordinates with Fleet Operations Team to ensure the availability of suitable AHTS to support Production barge movements
- Monitor Offshore Production forecast to plan accordingly, assign suitable vessel/s to support long term and short term operations
- Coordinate with Fleet Operations Team to schedule the release of vessels for Maintenance and Repairs while ensuring adequate quantities of available fleet
- Significantly control the Shutdown Times & ensure not to exceed the agreed 0.4 monthly percentage
Requirements
- University bachelor’s degree in supply chain management/Logistics/Marine operation or equivalent professional qualification
- 10 years of relevant professional experience in Technical and Projects Engineering or Management in the Petrochemical / Refining / Oil & Gas industry
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in Logistics & Shipping/ sea freight supply related to the Oil & Gas industry
- Good knowledge of industry best practice and technology trends, and of applicable legislation and regulations
- Good skills on Project Management software
- In depth knowledge of relevant Oil & Gas Business Planning, Supply Planning and core marine processes

Job Specific Accountabilities Part 1

Job Specific Accountabilities Part 2
- Coordinate with Fleet Operations Team to schedule the release of vessels for Maintenance and Repairs (in case of breakdowns) while ensuring adequate quantities of available fleet to support the 24/7 shipping and supply operations
- Significantly control the Shutdown Times & ensure not to exceed the agreed 0.4 monthly percentage.
- Constantly coordinate and aligns with Shipping Team, and Offshore Site End Users to ensure smooth 24/7 operations.
- Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
- Appraise vendor manufacturing ability through on site visits and measurements.
- Accurately estimate amount of provisions to be sent offshore on a periodic basis to avoid surplus of supply (avoiding waste and decreasing cost) and to avoid a deficit in order to maintain the wellbeing and basic needs of personnel.
- Follow up with end users to comply agreed operating timelines and ensure assets utilization in full
- Close coordination with different internal stake holders by maintaining high level of professional communication
- Provide necessary assistance to company L&S commercial on various project proposals
Minimum Requirements
