- Provide input to the strategic plan and translate direction into key initiatives, action plans, and quality deliverables
- Maintain strategic foresight by identifying business needs and emerging technologies (AI agents, automation, analytics) that strengthen assurance
- Support advisory engagements and research in areas of expertise to assist the Leadership Team
- Build, deploy, and maintain AI agents and automation that support advisory and assurance work
- Integrate AI, automation, and analytics into planning, execution, and reporting for real time insight
- Track performance metrics, guide staff on new tools, and ensure innovation aligns with risk frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Support work on emerging risks such as cybersecurity and data privacy
- Collaborate with audit leaders and cross functional teams to drive innovation
- Provide timely, transparent reporting, and work with engagement and QAIP teams
- Improve procedures, tools, and techniques based on results, best practices, and regulatory changes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Analytics, Data Science, Business Administration, or related field
- 4+ years in technology, analytics, automation, internal audit, risk, or related field
- Proven delivery of process improvement and innovation using emerging technologies, including hands on building or deploying AI agents, automation, or analytics solutions
- Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, or PMP are an advantage
- Understanding of audit methodologies, risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements is an advantage
- Practical experience with AI, automation, and data analytics tools
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Office; high proficiency in English, with Arabic an advantage
- Strong in applying technology and analytics to enhance assurance effectiveness
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Job Overview
- The Senior Specialist, Advisory within Internal Audit supports the Manager, Technology Audit and Enablement in leading initiatives aimed at driving innovation, improving processes, and enhancing assurance operations.
- The role focuses on integrating technology solutions, building and embedding AI agents and intelligent automation, supporting advisory engagements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Provide input to the strategic plan and translate direction into key initiatives, action plans, and quality deliverables.
- Maintain strategic foresight by identifying business needs and emerging technologies (AI agents, automation, analytics) that strengthen assurance.
- Support advisory engagements and research in areas of expertise to assist the Leadership Team.
- Support progress reporting, facilitate workshops to resolve thematic issues, and oversee assigned external service providers.
- Support process improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, quality, and risk mitigation.
- Build, deploy, and maintain AI agents and automation that support advisory and assurance work.
- Integrate AI, automation, and analytics into planning, execution, and reporting for real time insight, working with IT and data teams on smooth rollout.
- Track performance metrics, guide staff on new tools, and ensure innovation aligns with risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Support work on emerging risks such as cybersecurity and data privacy, and deliver innovation projects end to end, on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with audit leaders and cross functional teams to drive innovation that meets business objectives.
- Build relationships with digital, technology, and functional leads, industry experts, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Analytics, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, or PMP are an advantage.
- Four or more years in technology, analytics, automation, internal audit, risk, or a related field.
- Proven delivery of process improvement and innovation using emerging technologies, including hands on building or deploying AI agents, automation, or analytics solutions.
- Understanding of audit methodologies, risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
- Practical experience with AI, automation, and data analytics tools.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Office; high proficiency in English, with Arabic an advantage.
- Strong in applying technology and analytics to enhance assurance effectiveness.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management.
- Able to plan and oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously and work under pressure.
