Role Overview
Join Microsoft's Turing team to build enterprise-scale AI experiences and core systems behind Microsoft 365 Copilot.
The team develops deep learning models, large language models, conversational search, and production systems used across Microsoft.
The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with engineers and applied scientists to turn research advances into robust, scalable, reliable products.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI capabilities including container execution and complex document generation.
- Build Microsoft 365 Copilot orchestration and runtime systems.
- Engineer multimodal, real-time, agentic, computer-use, and tool-use systems.
- Write secure, maintainable, well-tested code and coach engineers through code reviews.
- Own architecture decisions across performance, scalability, resiliency, cost, and disaster recovery.
- Define test plans, apply security and compliance by design, and drive safe deployment and live-site reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
