KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & COMPETENCIES
- as a Senior Software Developer, you will use your vast experience in full stack software development to implement high complexity solutions, improve existing features and code maintainability, and deliver digital solutions needed to perform data- and computation- intensive sustainability research, back-office operations. You will be working together with a team of talented and results oriented individuals and take part in the constant development and improvement of our digital products.
- Also, you will be able to improve your software development skills by implementing high complexity solutions in geographically distributed environments, improving existing features, and working with cutting edge technologies.
- Contribute to the development of new products by using .NET Core and in other software frameworks;
- Implement solutions based on requirements within estimated timeframes ;
- Collaborate with product management teams in different parts of the world to achieve and extend the overall vision of the product;
- Research and propose different solutions and possible enhancements ;
- Solve reported issues.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4 + years of experience with:.Net Framework, .Net Core, C#, PostgreSQL, Microservices, REST APIs, architectural design patterns, software design patterns, Hangfire , Pentaho ETL
- 4 + years’ experience with: Angular and TypeScript or other JavaScript frameworks;
- DevOps skills working with AWS/Azure is an asset;
- Python knowledge is an asset;
- Knowledge of how software automation works;
- An understanding of cloud computing technologies, including Software as a Service solutions leveraging Microsoft and/or Amazon technology is an asset;
- Prior experience with No-SQL databases is an asset;
- Leverage AI-powered software engineering tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Amazon Q) to accelerate code development, testing, debugging, documentation, and code reviews while maintaining high standards of quality and security.
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted development practices across the SDLC, establishing best practices, governance, and measurable productivity improvements for engineering teams.
- Knowledge/prior experience in machine learning is an asset;
- Any other evidence of your passion for building great software;
- You have a University degree (preferably in a science related subject or in engineering)
