Team and Role
The Advertising Performance group develops large-scale, low-latency systems for multi-objective optimization across the advertising ecosystem.
The role applies and advances research in machine learning, statistics, advertising optimization, and experimentation.
Research and Modeling
- Apply existing research and conduct original research to solve challenging advertising problems.
- Build state-of-the-art deep learning discriminative models and generative models for image and video advertising.
- Develop approaches for conversion modeling, attribution, calibration, forecasting, time-series modeling, yield optimization, and margin optimization.
- Support A/B and multivariate experimentation.
Qualifications
- A PhD in computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline is preferred.
- Extensive applied research experience using statistical and deep learning techniques is sought.
- Published papers on deep learning models for advertising or related areas are preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills are sought.
- Advertising domain experience and open-source machine learning contributions are preferred.
Hybrid Working
- Teams generally work in the office Monday through Thursday, with Fridays generally flexible for remote work.
- Some roles or assigned office locations may require attendance five days per week.
