Role overview
EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Developer to work on impactful software engineering projects.
The role focuses on developing, enhancing, and maintaining backend code, microservices, and REST APIs.
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain code.
- Build backend microservices and REST APIs.
- Conduct unit testing and perform code reviews.
- Follow best practices including continuous integration.
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 6 years of development work experience.
- Hands-on experience with Java and the Spring Framework.
- Proficiency in REST APIs and microservices architecture.
- Understanding of backend technologies including Kafka.
- Familiarity with WebLogic.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Computer Science.
- Experience in financial services, particularly wealth management.
