Role Overview
EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with Java full-stack expertise and Angular experience.
The role focuses on scalable microservices architectures, front-end and back-end integration, and technical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java 8, Spring Boot, and Angular.
- Build, test, and deploy scalable and reliable microservices and REST APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Implement responsive and accessible front-end components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Optimize application performance through coding strategies and debugging.
- Create CI/CD pipelines, manage Git version control, and conduct automated JUnit testing.
- Troubleshoot development and production issues and integrate current software design practices.
Requirements
- 5–9 years of software engineering experience and at least four years of Java development experience.
- Proficiency in Java 8, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Expertise in Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Understanding of REST APIs, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
- Capability to work with microservices architectures and cloud-based applications.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, package managers, and common web development tools.
