Position Description: Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Position: Java Fullstack Experience: 6-8 Years Category: Software Development/ Engineering Shift: General Main location: India, Telangana, Hyderabad Position ID: J0326-2668 Employment Type: Full Time Job Overview: Example: CGI is looking for a talented and motivated Data Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Springboot, Microservices, and Angular to build and manage scalable, efficient, and reliable data pipelines and infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, working closely with data scientists, analysts, and business teams.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade full-stack applications. Build scalable RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. Develop responsive user interfaces using Angular or React. Integrate applications with relational and NoSQL databases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software. Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies. Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance. Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices. Support CI/CD pipelines and production deployments.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- 6–8 years of experience in Java Full Stack development. Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17. Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data. Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture. Experience with Angular (8+)/React.js, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs. Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA. Experience with SQL (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB). Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and secure coding practices. Preferred Skills Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ. Knowledge of Redis, Elasticsearch, or API Gateway. Experience with JUnit, Mockito, and SonarQube. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
