Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack - Product Engineering

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain web applications using Java, React, and TypeScript.
• Develop RESTful and gRPC APIs for high performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Own features after release through monitoring, debugging, production support, and iterative improvements.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers on customer-focused features.
• Debug full-stack production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Contribute to system architecture, refactoring, framework integration, and scalability improvements.
• Use SQL and relational database tools to manage application state.
• Participate in code reviews and scheduled production on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience, preferably with production web applications.
• Strong Java back-end development experience, including familiarity with Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and React or similar front-end frameworks.
• Understanding of data modeling, relational databases, SQL, data structures, and client/server architecture.
• Experience with Git, modern IDEs, and build or deployment tools such as Gradle, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
• Experience supporting production systems through debugging, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
• Ability to solve complex technical problems and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Compensation

• Expected salary range is $150,000–$165,000 per year.
• Full-time employees may be eligible for equity and benefits.
