About the Role
Wingify is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with 3 or more years of experience to build, maintain, and evolve reliable, scalable software products.
This is a backend-heavy full-stack role involving backend systems, frontend components, APIs, integrations, and infrastructure.
The role requires strong PHP and backend development experience plus exposure to Node.js, SQL, Redis, event-driven systems, cloud technologies, and AI-assisted tools.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs primarily using PHP.
- Build Node.js services and integrations and contribute to frontend development when required.
- Work with relational databases, SQL, Redis caching, event-driven architectures, queues, workers, and background processing.
- Investigate production issues using logs, traces, metrics, and application behavior to identify root causes.
- Design reliable, secure, performant, scalable, and maintainable solutions and operate them on AWS.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, design reviews, architectural decisions, automation, and cross-team problem solving.
- Own features and technical problems end to end from understanding through implementation, deployment, monitoring, and resolution.
