🚀 Senior Software Engineer – Data Warehouse (ELT)

Experience

We’re looking for a

Senior Software Engineer (Elt)

to join our Data Warehouse team and drive impactful data integration initiatives.

This role is all about building robust pipelines, designing efficient data models, and delivering insightful dashboards that empower smarter business decisions.

🌟 What You’ll Do

  • **Data Integration Pipelines (30%)**
  • Build and deploy ingestion pipelines using

Streamsets Data Collector

and

Kafka

, orchestrated with

Apache Airflow

  • .
  • Transform data with SQL/PLSQL for reporting and analysis.
  • **Data Modeling (20%)**
  • Design star schema models, semantic layers, and data marts.
  • Optimize reporting with aggregate tables and distribution strategies.
  • **Tableau Dashboards (30%)**
  • Create interactive dashboards and visualizations to highlight KPIs.
  • Develop reliable workbooks with parameters, containers, and automated extracts.
  • **Platform Operations (10%)**
  • Monitor and maintain the data integration platform.
  • Troubleshoot issues, apply security patches, and ensure smooth system performance.
  • **Requirements & Reporting (10%)**
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, gather requirements, and manage project delivery timelines.

🎯 What We’re Looking For

  • **Education:**
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related field.
  • **Certifications:**
  • Data integration or data modeling certifications preferred.
  • **Skills & Tools:**

• StreamSets, Kafka, DBT, Apache Airflow

  • PostgreSQL with Citus
  • Tableau
  • Data warehousing, dimensional modeling, BI reporting
  • **Industry Experience:**
  • Software, Aviation, or Airport domain preferred.
  • **Mindset:**
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to influence with logic and facts, and a passion for data-driven decision-making.
