About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator (MS SQL & Oracle) to manage production and DR site databases in a 24/7 enterprise environment. The role requires strong expertise in installation, administration, backup/recovery, clustering, and performance optimization.

- Administer and optimize MS SQL & Oracle databases in production and DR environments
- Implement backup/recovery strategies (RMAN, log shipping, Data Guard)
- Manage clustering technologies on Windows Server 2016/2019
- Perform Oracle housekeeping (tablespace resizing, index rebuilding, statistics gathering)
- Troubleshoot OS level issues and database performance bottlenecks
- Collaborate with application teams for escalations and performance tuning
- Ensure 24/7 availability and rapid response to incidents
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Computer Science / IT or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of DBA experience in MS SQL & Oracle environments
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified SQL DBA, Oracle Certified Professional, Windows Server OS
- Strong knowledge of ASM, RAC, Flashback, AWR/ASH analysis

About the Role
