What you will do

- Own complex components from technical design through production and maintain technical documentation.
- Optimize performance, reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Support production services through monitoring, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Mentor junior engineers, perform code reviews, and contribute to engineering standards.
Required qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field is required.
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience with scalable, high-availability, consumer-facing platforms is required.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, modern microservices, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms is required.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar event-streaming platforms is required.
- Deep understanding of caching, Redis or equivalent technologies, concurrency, consistency, and transactional integrity is required.
- Experience designing resilient solutions for peak demand, graceful degradation, fallback mechanisms, and operational excellence is required.
Preferred knowledge
- Understanding of inventory management, order promising, delivery estimation, fulfilment capacity, carrier constraints, and service-level commitments is highly desirable.
- Experience configuring or extending OMS platforms for complex omnichannel commerce use cases is preferred.
- Experience with Fluent Commerce or comparable OMS platforms such as IBM Sterling OMS, Manhattan Associates, Kibo, or Salesforce OMS is advantageous.
