Mission

Manage overall inventory and drive the purchasing process for PUMA GCC.

Monitor inbound activity, inventory, and Open-To-Buy utilization to support product availability and launch dates.

Coordinate closely with planning, merchandising, logistics, factories, vendors, and global supply chain teams.

Purchasing and Order Management

  • Oversee the full order processing cycle for accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Execute purchasing activities based on approved demand and buying plans.
  • Coordinate timely creation and placement of purchase orders.
  • Check open purchase orders against Open-To-Buy each month.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to support smooth order fulfillment.

Demand and Supply Coordination

  • Translate market requirements into purchasing needs with the merchandising team.
  • Support seasonal buying and forecast processes.
  • Highlight significant demand changes and potential supply implications.
  • Monitor inventory development and support balancing and availability initiatives.

Orderbook and Supply Management

  • Track purchase orders with factories until they are ready for shipment.
  • Provide visibility into open orders, delays, and supply risks.
  • Coordinate with global supply chain teams on delays, shortages, allocations, and order changes.
  • Drive follow-up actions to minimize supply disruptions and cancellations.

Systems and Analytics

  • Maintain accurate product master data.
  • Upload and maintain prices in SAP.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics and prepare purchasing, orderbook, and supply-performance reports.
  • Analyze delivery, quantity, cancellation, and availability deviations and propose process improvements.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a relevant field of study.
  • At least 3 years of work experience.
  • Retail or wholesale industry experience is preferred.

Capabilities

  • Strong working knowledge of SAP and solid Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Power BI experience is an advantage.
  • Business-level written and verbal communication skills.
