The Senior Backend Software Engineer will contribute to scalable, reliable machine learning infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Own and deliver quarterly team goals and lead engineers through ambiguous, open-ended problems.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics during ideation and product development.
- Articulate technical constraints and help make decisions that consider risks and trade-offs.
- Identify and lead resolution of project, process, technology, and business issues.
- Create and monitor metrics, escalate issues, and support operational availability and on-call efforts.
- Set or improve code review and design standards and advocate for quality through writing and technical talks.
- Develop team talent through feedback, guidance, and leading by example.
What we look for
- At least four years of experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale.
