About the Role
Own and drive collections and recoveries strategy for Affirm Canada across the full post-delinquency lifecycle.
Partner with Product and Compliance to align practices with Canadian consumer protection, collections, and privacy requirements.
Use analytical expertise, consumer-credit knowledge, vendor management, and stakeholder management to improve recovery outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Own digital and outbound collections, third-party agency placement, and post-charge-off recoveries.
- Optimize communications cadence, sequencing, collection channels, outbound calling, and repayment experiments.
- Track recovery rates, cost-to-collect, placement mix, liquidation curves, and vendor scorecards.
- Set the Canadian collections and recoveries roadmap and drive initiatives from hypothesis through measured impact.
- Partner with Product, Legal, Compliance, and international collections teams.
What We Look For
- 5–7+ years in credit risk, collections, or recoveries strategy analytics in consumer lending.
- Experience designing or optimizing collections or recoveries strategies using data and analytics.
- Strong analytical skills with SQL, Python, or another scripting language.
