Build a safe, scalable, and lightweight AI capability to replace ad-hoc AI experimentation.
Build central developer tools and production gates while working directly with business teams across Software Engineering, Operations, Services, and Finance.
What you'll do
- Embed temporarily within cross-functional business teams to co-build high-impact AI features inside their domain codebases.
- Design and build internal developer tools, standard templates, and Python pipeline gates for security, technical standards, tone, and performance.
- Establish guardrails, security standards, and production pathways for secure, scalable, well-architected AI systems.
- Map operational problems with technical and non-technical stakeholders and design practical AI-augmented workflows.
- Collaborate with the Data team to ensure secure and effective data flows into front-facing AI tools and applications.
- Provide pairing, mentorship, and technical guidance so local teams can maintain and expand delivered technology.
- Feed insights from embedded deployments into central prototyping tools, patterns, and frameworks.
What you'll need
- Strong backend engineering background with deep fluency in Python and Django.
- Understanding of system design, developer experience, and system reliability.
- Hands-on familiarity with modern AI toolchains, LLM integrations, retrieval patterns, and rapid prototyping frameworks.
- Ability to audit AI-generated code.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication across technical and non-technical partners.
- Pragmatic builder mindset focused on fast, practical value.
- Collaborative coaching skills, including pair programming or mentoring experience.
- Comfort with a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment and context-switching between projects.
