Responsibilities
- Operate Sheetfed Machines to Professional Standards
- Set up and run Komori, Heidelberg XL, and Mitsubishi sheetfed presses with precision
- Configure feeder systems, plate alignment, and job parameters according to production specs and client requirements
- Ensure readiness for high volume and specialty print jobs
- Monitor ink density, registration, and paper feed accuracy across the entire batch
- Adjust machine settings proactively to prevent color shifts, misalignment, or print defects
- Ensure uniformity from first sheet to last
- Carry out periodic maintenance tasks including roller cleaning, blanket replacement, lubrication, and inspection of mechanical components
- Document all maintenance activities and escalate any abnormalities to the technical team
- Maintain optimal ink water balance throughout the print run to prevent issues like scumming, toning, or emulsification
- Fine tune dampening systems and ink flow to ensure sharp, clean prints with consistent color fidelity
