We are hiring a Senior Security Engineer – Microsoft Defender & Purview for a leading enterprise organization in Dubai, UAE. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Defender security solutions across enterprise environments.
- Configure and manage Microsoft Purview, including DLP, Sensitivity Labels, Retention Policies, and Compliance Controls.
- Perform threat hunting, incident investigation, and response using Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel.
- Deploy and optimize Microsoft Sentinel, including analytics rules, automation playbooks, and SIEM/SOAR integrations.
- Implement Zero Trust security controls using Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
- Conduct security assessments, gap analysis, and recommend remediation aligned with Microsoft security best practices.
- Support governance, compliance, and data protection initiatives.
- Collaborate with SOC, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Application teams on security operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with at least 3 years focused on Microsoft Security and Azure technologies
- Strong hands on expertise in Microsoft Defender XDR, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access & MFA, Privileged Identity Management, Data Loss Prevention, eDiscovery & Compliance, KQL & PowerShell

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Defender security solutions across enterprise environments.
