About the Role

- Lead vendor audits and contract negotiations to achieve cost savings
- Administer and configure ServiceNow SAM Pro and other SAM tools
Requirements
- 6 10 years of hands on Software Asset Management / Licensing experience
- Prior experience working with a service provider, MSP, or managed services vendor delivering SAM services
- Active ServiceNow SAM Pro certification
- Hands on FinOps experience: cloud cost optimization, showback/chargeback, Azure/SaaS consumption analysis
- Expert level licensing knowledge across at least 4 of: Microsoft, Adobe, Autodesk, Oracle, VMware/Broadcom, Red Hat
- Has personally led or been a core participant in at least 2 major vendor audits
- Proven track record in EA renewals, subscription renewals, and vendor negotiations with documented savings
- Hands on administration of at least one SAM tool: ServiceNow SAM Pro, Flexera One, or SNOW License Manager

Mandatory Skills
- SAM Experience: 6 10 years of hands on Software Asset Management / Licensing experience (not procurement only or CMDB only profiles).
- Service Provider / MSP Background: Prior experience working with a service provider, MSP, or managed services vendor delivering SAM services to enterprise or government clients.
- ServiceNow SAM Pro Certified: Active ServiceNow SAM Pro certification is mandatory. Hands on administration and configuration of SAM Pro required.
- FinOps Hands On: Demonstrable hands on FinOps experience: cloud cost optimization, showback/chargeback, Azure/SaaS consumption analysis, and FinOps aligned license optimization. FinOps Certified Practitioner preferred.
- Vendor Licensing Depth: Expert level licensing knowledge across at least 4 of: Microsoft (M365, Windows Server, SQL, AVS), Adobe, Autodesk, Oracle, VMware/Broadcom, Red Hat.
- Audit Leadership: Has personally led or been a core participant in at least 2 major vendor audits (Microsoft / Oracle / Adobe / Autodesk / VMware).
- Contract Negotiation: Proven track record in EA renewals, subscription renewals, and vendor negotiations with documented savings or cost avoidance outcomes.
- SAM Tooling: Hands on administration of at least one of: ServiceNow SAM Pro (required as above), Flexera One / FlexNet, SNOW License Manager.
