Role Overview
The Senior SAP Security Analyst designs, implements, and maintains SAP security architecture and controls.
The role safeguards SAP business systems, supports access governance, and enables secure and compliant operations across the SAP landscape.
The analyst serves as a subject matter expert for SAP security best practices, access controls, and compliance requirements.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage SAP security operations, change management, incident management, access support, and project delivery.
- Deploy, monitor, test, and optimize SAP security and identity access management practices.
- Own SAP cybersecurity audit controls, identity policy compliance, and operational efficiency improvements.
- Create and maintain SAP accounts, approved access, user records, rulebooks, mitigating controls, and access documentation.
- Gather security requirements, develop risk mitigation solutions, and support SAP data access and network authorization.
- Maintain reports, policies, procedures, and audit evidence supporting SOX compliance.
- Coordinate security incidents and collaborate with IT, security support, business, and Enterprise Architecture teams.
- Stay current on technologies, practices, and policies that can improve security capabilities and service quality.
