Job Overview

Our client, a leading luxury catering, banqueting, and restaurant group in Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager to drive revenue growth while overseeing the successful planning and coordination of high-profile events.

The successful candidate will lead sales initiatives, manage key client relationships, prepare event documentation, and ensure smooth communication between clients and operational teams.

This role requires a commercially driven professional who can balance strong sales performance with detailed event planning and flawless execution in a multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead sales activities and business development efforts to achieve revenue targets across catering, banqueting, and restaurant operations.
  • Build strong client relationships, manage key accounts, and identify new business opportunities across corporate and social segments.
  • Prepare and manage Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), ensuring all client requirements, timelines, and operational details are accurately documented and communicated.
  • Oversee event planning coordination from initial inquiry through final execution, ensuring alignment with client expectations and service standards.
  • Conduct client meetings, present venue offerings, customize packages, negotiate commercial terms, and secure confirmed business.
  • Coordinate closely with culinary, service, and events teams to confirm menus, setups, schedules, and event flow.
  • Monitor event handover processes to ensure all departments receive clear and timely operational instructions.
  • Act as the main commercial contact for clients, resolving concerns efficiently and maintaining high satisfaction levels.
  • Lead and support a small sales and administrative team, setting objectives and maintaining accountability for performance.
  • Track sales activity, maintain CRM records, prepare reports, and support strategic revenue planning.

Qualifications And Requirements

  • Proven experience in senior sales, events sales, or hospitality commercial roles within luxury catering, banqueting, or hospitality operations.
  • Strong hands-on experience preparing BEOs and managing event-related administrative documentation.
  • Comfortable handling both commercial sales responsibilities and operational event coordination.
  • Leadership experience managing small to mid-sized teams, ideally in multicultural environments.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with excellent client-facing ability.
  • Good understanding of banquet and catering operations, including event setup planning and interdepartmental coordination.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, thriving under pressure in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, sales tracking tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Professional demeanor, integrity, adaptability, and cultural sensitivity.
