The telecom software industry still operates on an outdated model: oversized BSS/OSS architectures, deployments measured in years, limitless customization demands, and vendors who have normalized delay.
Operators face mounting pressure to monetize 5G infrastructure, accelerate MVNO launches, modernize wholesale operations, and break free from legacy vendor dependencies—yet the platforms they rely on were designed to resist rapid evolution.

This is SaaS telco infrastructure that becomes operational in weeks.

You are demonstrating production software with genuine technical and commercial advantages.
This position centers on securing the technical sale.
You will deliver customized demonstrations, drive technical discovery sessions, define solution parameters, and create precise RFP responses spanning all three Totogi product lines.
You must possess sufficient telco domain knowledge to speak credibly about charging, billing, CRM, product catalog, integrations, 5G interfaces, migration limitations, and rate plan intricacy—then translate that technical detail into business outcomes within the same engagement.
This is not a support function, an implementation assignment, or a scripted presales activity.
It is designed for someone who thrives with skeptical buyers, challenging technical inquiries, and competitive situations where legacy solutions no longer satisfy requirements.
You will operate at the intersection of product capability, sales execution, and customer needs.
Your deliverables must be rigorous enough that prospects progress to next stages, Professional Services can estimate accurately, and the organization advances toward closed revenue.

What You Will Be Doing
- Running customer demonstrations that showcase the interface and functionality of Totogi's product portfolio
- Engaging customer subject matter experts to uncover pain points, technical specifications, and validation criteria
- Producing solution scopes for the Professional Services organization, aligning customer needs with Totogi's platform capabilities
- Authoring RFP responses that communicate how Totogi's solutions satisfy technical and commercial requirements within formal bidding environments
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Closing deals or carrying a sales quota
- Producing boilerplate Solution Scopes that ignore individual customer contexts
- Conducting sales enablement sessions or performing administrative work
Senior Sales Engineer Key Responsibilities
- Technical wins that move opportunities forward across Totogi's three product lines (Telco Ontology, AI-Native Charging, Wholesale BSS Platform)
Basic Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years in presales, solution architecture, or sales engineering within the telco BSS/OSS space
- Proven track record leading technical sales engagements for charging, billing, or BSS solutions
- Demonstrated ability to deliver persuasive product demonstrations and present to senior technical and business decision-makers
- Hands-on experience writing code that integrates with APIs (GraphQL, REST)

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position.
The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year.
The payment period is weekly.
