Role Overview

  • Atovee Steel Constructions is seeking a high performing, technically sound Senior Sales Engineer with a minimum of 8 years of proven experience in the structural steel and heavy steel fabrication industry.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, identifying commercial project opportunities, and securing contracts for structural steel fabrication and erection across the UAE.
  • This role requires a strong combination of technical engineering knowledge, commercial estimation understanding, and an established network of main contractors, consultants, and developers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively identify, target, and secure new commercial, industrial, and infrastructure structural steel projects across the region.
  • Build and maintain strong, long term relationships with main contractors, developers, project consultants, and structural engineers to ensure Atovee is included in upcoming project tenders.
  • Review complex structural blueprints, architectural drawings, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and project specifications. Coordinate closely with the internal estimation and engineering teams to prepare competitive and highly accurate commercial bids.
  • Present and explain technical proposals to clients, offering value engineering solutions where applicable to optimize costs and secure the contract.
  • Lead commercial discussions, negotiate contract terms, pricing, and payment milestones, and successfully close high value structural steel deals.
  • Monitor market trends, upcoming project pipelines, and competitor activity to strategically position Atovee as a preferred structural steel partner.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years of direct sales and business development experience specifically within the structural steel contracting and fabrication sector in the UAE/GCC.
  • A proven track record and an active network of clients, main contractors, and consultants in the local construction market.
  • Excellent ability to read and interpret complex structural engineering drawings, connection details, and technical project specifications.
  • A valid UAE Driving License is mandatory for frequent client meetings and site visits.
  • Exceptional command of English (written and verbal), with top tier presentation, communication, and closing skills.
