- Maintain accurate company ledgers, record daily financial transactions, and reconcile accounts
- Prepare periodic financial statements, profit and loss accounts, and management reports
- Handle end to end payroll process and facilitate salary releases
- Coordinate timely payments to vendors, sub contractors, and service providers
- Generate, process, and track invoices, utility bills, pay orders, and purchase orders
- Perform routine bank statement reconciliations and identify discrepancies
- Assist in preparation of company budgets and monitor routine office expenditures
- Provide support for internal and external audits by compiling financial records
- Perform clerical accounting tasks including archiving, data entry, and database maintenance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- 1–3 years of direct accounting experience
- Previous experience in a construction, engineering, or industrial trading company in the UAE is highly preferred
- High proficiency in Tally Prime and QuickBooks
- Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
- High attention to numerical detail and integrity in handling confidential financial data
- Strong time management skills to meet monthly closing deadlines

Role Overview
- Atovee Steel Constructions is seeking a detail oriented and organized Junior Accountant to join our finance department. In this role, you will be responsible for day to day financial operations, maintaining accurate company ledgers, processing payroll, and supporting the senior accounting team with
Key Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping & Ledger Management: Maintain accurate company ledgers, record daily financial transactions, and reconcile accounts to ensure total accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare periodic financial statements, profit and loss (P&L) accounts, and essential management reports to assist senior leadership in strategic decision making.
- Payroll & Payments Management: Handle the end to end payroll process, facilitate salary releases, and efficiently coordinate timely payments to vendors, sub contractors, and service providers.
- Invoice & Billing Control: Generate, process, and track invoices, utility bills, pay orders, and purchase orders while ensuring strict compliance with internal documentation and approval workflows.
- Bank Reconciliation: Verify incoming and outgoing payments, perform routine bank statement reconciliations, and promptly identify and track any account discrepancies.
- Budgeting Support & Cost Control: Assist in the preparation of company budgets and actively monitor routine office expenditures to ensure strict compliance with fiscal plans.
- Audit Assistance: Provide comprehensive support for both internal and external audits by compiling and delivering accurate financial records, receipts, and statutory documentation.
- Administrative Support: Perform essential clerical accounting tasks, including structured archiving, digital data entry, and regular maintenance of the central financial database.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- Experience: 1–3 years of direct accounting experience (previous experience in a construction, engineering, or industrial trading company in the UAE is highly preferred).
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in core accounting platforms—specifically Tally Prime and QuickBooks—alongside advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) and computerized payroll systems.
- Core Competencies: High attention to numerical detail, absolute integrity in handling confidential financial data, and strong time management skills to meet monthly closing deadlines.
