- Have in depth understanding of MongoDB products to provide mentorship for the sales team
- Enable, develop and empower the team to proactively prospect, identify, qualify, and build sales pipeline
- Coach the team to grow existing business and navigate complex negotiations
- Evangelize MEDDIC sales methodology and drive adoption within the team
- Actively recruit Account Executives according to MongoDB’s hiring criteria
- Onboard and ramp new Account Executives to accelerate productive capacity
- Foster strong relationships resulting in growth opportunities
- Run weekly forecast meetings
- Scale, strategically plan, and develop sales territories
Requirements
- 2+ years experience recruiting and managing a direct software sales team
- 5+ years quota carrying field experience in a fast paced competitive market with focus on closing net new logos
- Demonstrated ability to open new accounts and run complex sales processes
- Proven track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets
- Ability to articulate business value of complex enterprise technology

About the Role
- MongoDB is looking for a hardworking, driven leader to lead a Growth sales team focusing on growing existing customers.
- The role is based in Dubai with a hybrid working model.
What you will be doing
- Have an in depth and detailed understanding of MongoDB products to confidently provide mentorship for your Sales team.
- Enable, develop and empower your team to proactively prospect, identify, qualify, and build sales pipeline.
- Coach the team to grow existing business and to navigate complex negotiations and organizations.
- Evangelize our validated sales methodology MEDDIC and drive adoption and expertise within your team.
- Actively recruit Account Executives for your team, according to MongoDB’s hiring criteria.
- Onboard and ramp new Account Executives and accelerate their productive capacity.
- Foster strong and effective relationships, resulting in growth opportunities.

What you will bring to the table
- 2+ years experience with recruiting and managing a highly successful and talented direct software sales team.
- 5+ years field experience of quota carrying experience in a fast paced and competitive market with a focus on closing net new logos.
- Demonstrated ability to open new accounts and run a complex sales process.
- A proven track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets.
- Ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology.
- Skilled in building business champions.
- Driven and competitive with a strong desire to be successful.
