Responsibilities
- Take end to end ownership of a major surface of the mobile platform
- Set mobile architecture direction and drive release quality
- Mentor engineers around you
- Profile, debug, and optimize React Native experiences for smoothness and reliability
- Help define scalable mobile architecture, improve code quality, integrate native modules
- Support A/B experiments, rapid prototyping, and use of AI tools to improve development speed and quality
- Contribute to testing and release pipeline using Maestro, CI/CD, automated checks, and production monitoring
Requirements
- Strong hands on experience with React Native, TypeScript, and modern mobile development practices
- Solid native understanding of both iOS and Android, including enough Swift/Objective C and Kotlin/Java to debug, profile, and integrate native modules
- Proven experience improving mobile app performance, stability, and user experience
- Strong understanding of clean code, SOLID principles, scalable architecture, and maintainable component design
- Senior level ownership: take a feature from design to production, make architecture trade offs, communicate clearly, and mentor other engineers
- Experience working on apps used across multiple countries, languages, currencies, or market specific flows (nice to have)
- Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines, release automation, App Store/Play Store release processes, and production monitoring (nice to have)
- Experience building for multiple markets or localizing apps at scale (nice to have)

Role Overview
- Senior React Native Engineer owning a major part of the mobile experience for Justlife's super app.
- Part of an AI first engineering organization scaling across UAE and KSA.
What You'll Own
- Consumer experience: the app millions use to book and manage home services.
- Performance & craft: profile, debug, and optimize React Native experiences.
- Architecture: help define scalable mobile architecture, improve code quality, integrate native modules.
- Experimentation & AI: support A/B experiments, rapid prototyping, and AI tools.
- Quality & releases: contribute to testing and release pipeline using Maestro, CI/CD, automated checks, production monitoring.
Must Have
- Strong hands on experience with React Native, TypeScript, and modern mobile development practices.
