Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review construction cost estimates, budgets, financial plans, variations, value engineering, and cost-control measures.
• Conduct project inspections and audits, review reports, propose corrective actions, and monitor compliance with standards, specifications, and regulations.
• Monitor project progress, report discrepancies and risks, and collaborate with project teams to resolve technical problems and improve construction methods.
• Prepare and review tenders, contract documentation, and procurement processes.
• Manage and assess subcontractors and suppliers for quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee health, safety, and environmental procedures and maintain accurate control documentation and records.
• Provide senior management with regular updates on project performance and potential risks.

Experience and Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required.
• At least five years of Quantity Surveyor experience in construction or property development is required.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction laws, regulations, and standards is required; Dubai or UAE experience is highly desirable.
• Experience in cost management, budgeting, and project scheduling is required.
• The role requires attention to detail, problem-solving, risk mitigation, communication, negotiation, and the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-specific software such as Procore or Buildertrend is required.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are a plus.
