Role Overview
The Orchard Place is hiring a Senior Procurement Engineer for main contracting and high-rise construction projects.
The role manages procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontract packages from enquiry through delivery or award.
Responsibilities
- Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontract packages.
- Prepare RFQs and obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Prepare technical and commercial comparison sheets.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with engineering, planning, construction, and commercial teams.
- Monitor long-lead materials and ensure timely delivery.
- Manage suppliers and subcontractors from enquiry through delivery or award.
- Maintain procurement schedules and trackers.
- Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
- The candidate must have 8–12 years of procurement experience in main contracting.
- Strong experience in high-rise towers or building projects is required.
- Good knowledge of construction materials and subcontract packages is required.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills are required.
