Role Overview
Oversee quantity surveying and commercial management functions across property development projects.
Ensure alignment with project budgets, timelines, company policies, and development programs.
Provide strategic commercial insights to senior leadership.
Commercial Management
- Review and guide commercial management, post-contract administration, and contractual correspondence.
- Organize meetings with consultants, project directors and managers, and development directors and managers.
- Ensure commercial activities align with the overall development program.
- Check and review cost estimates throughout the development cycle.
Budgets and Change Management
- Monitor project budgets, commitments, and change management processes across multiple projects.
- Ensure project budgets are adhered to and report concerns to management.
- Advise on contractual entitlement for variations and claims.
- Administer extension-of-time matters for project completion.
