Title: Senior Quality Assurance Inspector

Overview

• Senior QA Inspector is responsible for overseeing and conducting quality assurance inspections across the food manufacturing process to ensure compliance with BRCGS, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, and regulatory standards.
• The role involves supervising and monitoring raw materials, in-process operations, and finished products, and ensuring effective documentation, reporting, and corrective actions to maintain product safety, legality, and quality.

• Lead and conduct thorough inspections of production processes, ensuring compliance with quality and food safety standards at all stages.
• Validate the quality of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods against specifications, identifying any deviations and taking immediate corrective actions.
• Perform line clearance checks, weight control checks, metal detector verification, and labeling/traceability inspections.
• Carry out environmental monitoring (swabs, water testing, pest control verification).
• Ensure all quality and safety documentation is maintained according to regulatory and company standards.
• Complete and review inspection records, checklists, and deviation reports.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with BRCGS Issue 9, ISO 22000, FSSC, HALAL, and customer standards.
• Support QA team in internal audits, external audits, and regulatory inspections.
• Suggest improvements in inspection procedures and quality Assurance systems.
• Participate in quality projects, product improvement trials, and process validations.
• Monitor complaint trends and recommend preventive measures.

Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, Quality Management or related field.
• Certifications in HACCP, GMP, Food Safety Management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance and food safety inspection roles, preferably within the FMCG or Food & Beverage industry.
