Role Overview

Senior QA Engineer supporting enterprise-level eCommerce solutions for the airline and travel industry.

The role covers manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications and collaboration across the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
  • Implement QA strategies for eCommerce websites and mobile applications.
  • Review requirements and specifications for software testability.
  • Maintain traceability between business requirements and test cases.
  • Develop automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver or similar tools.
  • Manage test environments and test data.
  • Execute functional, regression, UI, and integration testing.
  • Validate releases and provide go/no-go recommendations.
  • Report, track, and verify defects with development teams.
  • Maintain the regression test repository and support UAT.
  • Report testing progress, quality risks, defects, and quality metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
  • At least 5 years of professional software quality assurance experience.
  • Hands-on experience with test planning, functional, UI, regression, and automated testing.
  • Mandatory hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
  • Experience testing web and mobile applications.
  • Knowledge of HTML and XML and basic SQL, preferably Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with source control tools such as Git, SVN, or Azure DevOps.
  • Understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, ownership, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with QTP/UFT.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience in the airline, travel, or eCommerce domain.
  • Arabic language skills are a plus.
