- Plan access for works and coordinate with other project teams
- Provide safety leadership, chair site leadership tours, and follow up on incidents

- Manage supervision consultant performance and activities
- Oversee MEP management including commissioning planning and handover
- Lead project managers reporting to the Senior Manager, including performance management and knowledge transfer
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in progressive project management roles
- BS degree in project management or relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- Excellent knowledge of construction projects legal frameworks
- Excellent understanding of key project processes
- Excellent communication skills and client understanding
- Experience in coordinating multiple parties
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Team oriented
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to facilitate meetings and support mediation discussions

Division Overview
- The Real Estate & Developments Division is responsible for development and delivery of operational real estate projects at Expo City Dubai.
- The team implements the development strategy from master planning through design and construction to ensure delivery of large scale construction projects.
Role Purpose
- The Senior Project Manager – Expo Hills leads and manages processes for delivering real estate capital works building projects to required standards.
- Provides leadership and direction for the delivery function across risk, change, reporting, environment, and sustainability.
Main Responsibilities
- Actively manage and hold day to day responsibility for execution of various building projects including residential, commercial, hospitality, and community facilities.
- Deliver works in accordance with design and brief requirements and defined project objectives including performance, schedule, and cost control.
- Contribute and be experienced in all aspects of project management for successful project delivery.
Full Participation In
- Pre contract strategic planning of the project including interfaces and logistics.
- Tendering activities including development of tender documentation, tender evaluation, and providing technical clarification.
- Projects execution, commissioning, and handover.
Manage and Monitor All Aspects of Project Delivery
- Risk management: develop and maintain project risk registers, report to senior management.
- Logistics management: plan access for works, coordinate with other project teams, manage project interfaces.
- Safety management: provide safety leadership, chair site leadership tours, follow up on incidents and improvement actions.
- Quality management: ensure quality of works is monitored, take actions for deficiencies, input into improvement action plans.
- Project execution: manage delivery according to schedule, manage construction interfaces, coordinate with stakeholders including authorities.
- Manage supervision consultant performance and activities in line with contracted obligations.
- MEP management: commissioning planning, interface with third party commissioning agent, manage handover of MEP systems.
- Authorities stakeholders reviews, inspection, and approvals requirements.
- Environmental/sustainability management.
- Ensure timely and accurate project reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
- Seek continuous improvement of processes and procedures throughout project execution.
People Management
- Lead project managers reporting to the Senior Manager, including performance management, knowledge transfer, and career growth.
Knowledge, Qualifications and Skills Required
- 8+ years of professional experience in progressive project management roles preferred.
- BS degree in project management or relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
- Discipline specific professional registration preferred (PMP, PMI, ICE, RICS).
- Excellent knowledge of construction projects legal frameworks.
- Excellent understanding of key project processes.
- Excellent communication skills and client understanding.
- Experience in coordinating multiple parties.
- Ability to meet deadlines, no exceptions – 'Completer Finisher' attributes.
- Team oriented.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and also to support mediation discussions.
- Excellent construction industry awareness.
