Senior Project Manager

Job Purpose

Project Management

• Collaborate with business, IT, finance, QA, audit, and vendor teams to plan infrastructure migration.
• Establish project plans, baselines, schedules, resource loads, and operating budgets.
• Define acceptance criteria, milestones, delivery dates, and sign-off processes.
• Establish governance processes and coordinate cross-functional teams and vendor partners.
• Identify and mitigate risks and challenges.
• Provide regular reporting to leadership and stakeholders.
• Drive delivery against timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and act as the primary contact for sponsors and project teams.

Programme Delivery

• Lead multi-workstream programmes involving 20 or more workstreams, budgets above AED 10 million, multiple vendors, and multiple business units.
• Deliver data centre exit, workplace transformation, cloud migration, ERP infrastructure modernization, contact centre migration, and enterprise security programmes.
• Drive Microsoft 365, collaboration, endpoint management, Copilot and AI adoption, and Windows refresh programmes.
• Deliver security and compliance programmes covering IAM, PAM, Zero Trust, DLP, MIP, Insider Risk, vulnerability management, and SOC transformation.
• Manage vendor-led delivery with Microsoft, AWS, and other major providers, including SOWs, scope, delivery plans, and commercial obligations.
• Own project-to-operations handover, support model design, knowledge transfer, hypercare governance, and formal service acceptance.

Technical Knowledge

• Azure is essential, while AWS is desirable, across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, landing zones, governance, FinOps, cost optimization, modernization, hybrid cloud, and DevOps operating models.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation is required to challenge vendor designs and delivery plans.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune, collaboration technologies, employee experience platforms, Copilot and AI adoption, and Windows refresh programmes.
• Experience with enterprise security, data centre security, access controls, GDPR, SOX, IAM, PAM, Zero Trust, DLP, MIP, Insider Risk, vulnerability management, and SOC transformation.
• Knowledge of data centre operations, networking, server hardware, virtualization, storage, backup, operating systems, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Experience with monitoring and infrastructure management tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, and SNMP.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related specialization.
• 12–15+ years of IT experience, including at least 8 years managing multi-site IT infrastructure and 8+ years leading enterprise programmes.
• Track record of programmes with budgets above AED 10 million and teams of 20–50 or more resources.
• Azure is mandatory, with AWS desirable, alongside Microsoft 365 transformation and cybersecurity programme delivery experience.
• Experience in retail, automotive, distribution, or enterprise shared services environments is preferred.
• Strong infrastructure project management, analytical, interpersonal, communication, leadership, commercial, vendor management, and service transition skills.
