Position Details
- Permanent full-time position based in Ottawa, Ontario.
- Work schedule includes 4 days onsite.
Role Overview
Gastops develops sensing and analysis products for equipment health management across aviation, energy, marine, industrial, and transportation industries.
The Senior Project Engineer provides technical coordination and leadership across internal and external cross-functional engineering projects.
The role aligns engineering activities, decisions, risks, and deliverables while partnering with Project Management and Systems Engineering without owning those functions.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional engineering projects through all product life-cycle stages.
- Serve as the technical interface between Engineering, Project Management, Systems Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and business units.
- Define technical scope, assumptions, dependencies, risks, and schedule and estimate inputs.
- Coordinate technical inputs for reviews, status updates, decision points, and performance discussions.
- Identify and help resolve technical risks, issues, trade-offs, and interdependencies.
