Senior role supporting electrical systems and construction delivery across infrastructure projects.
The position develops engineering deliverables and practical execution strategies for efficient project delivery.
The role is based in South Australia or may be performed on a FIFO basis from Melbourne or Sydney.
Division context
ACCIONA Mechanical & Electrical delivers mechanical and electrical design, construction, installation, and commissioning services.
Projects include renewable energy, transmission networks, sustainable transport systems, and water infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Develop construction methodologies and Construction Method Statements covering constructability, safe work execution, temporary works, and innovative solutions.
- Coordinate engineering, construction, and commercial teams to resolve technical challenges and assess alternatives.
- Prepare project execution plans, resource schedules, labour histograms, and delivery strategies.
- Manage critical path activities, schedule risks, procurement constraints, logistics constraints, and mitigation strategies.
- Direct construction engineering activities and ensure approved methodologies meet statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor project performance to minimise delays and maximise productivity.
Required skills and competencies
- Degree in electrical engineering or a similar discipline.
- At least 7 years of construction industry experience.
- Extensive experience with electrical installation in process power plants.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Knowledge of engineering project management principles.
